My dog, Cheddar,  died on Monday, March 27th, 2017 as the new moon approached it’s zenith.  Oh…wtf…it was a new moon but I don’t know where it was on it’s journey because on my journey I was crying.  My dog didn’t even die, I mean she did, but I chose to put her to sleep.  And I didn’t really even choose to put her to sleep because I was on the road with my daughter and two of her girlfriends to go to the beach and hang out for spring break.  Instead, I sent my love with my dog to the Vet to get some blood done to make sure she was ready for ear surgery the next week only to get the call that she was actually in heart failure.  Time to choose….the coughing, the weight gain, the lack of appetite…and somehow I knew.  I knew.
